Stock m20 with 5 speed. It's actually a very, very basic 325i coupe, which I'm happy about. Basic always makes for a good project car.

Damn right. I almost had an E30 as my first car but had an absolute boat of a Mercedes W126 instead. Loved that car, except when I hated it occasionally.

Looks awesome! I love an E30 in red.

Nice. I hope some time later on in life to have a 190e cosworth, loved the old Mercs of the 80's.

Yes I am, and this is probably that car.

Mine was an '88 300SE, fair bit bigger than a 190E.

Sometimes. It depended on how it was optioned. I don't know if this one does or does not, previous owner is printing me out an option sheet for when I go to pick up the car.

So do I. In fact, most Euro cars in red look great to my eye.

Ohhh yes, but still retained that boxy 80's merc look. Love that look.

Awesome! Nice to know that the previous owner had such good records. If you want to test it out, just find a deserted road with no curbing and some dirt on the side. gun it a bit with one tire on dirt and the other tire on pavement, and if the dirt wheel just spins and spins and you go nowhere, it's an open diff. If the dirt wheel spins but you feel the pavement wheel "locks" a bit and starts driving the car too, you're blessed with a LSD.

Thanks, I'll definitely check that out! If it doesn't, one will find its way in within the next year or two. ;)

No problemo! I learned the tip on the Miata forums. Remember that it's a limited slip diff, not a locking diff, so the wheel on the dirt will keep spinning faster than the wheel on the pavement no matter what. You want to see if you can feel that tire on the road applying any force.
Or just go rip some donuts in the snow and see if it's one or two wheels skidding...

thus car will be seeing no snow, haha. I'm very much against winter driving it as of right now.
